PURCHASEDOWNLOADGod tier jazz, funk and breakbeat fusion from Moving Shadow. Lots of golden tracks, I mean it's hard to describe it elsewhere other than really damn good. It's awesome to hear this though because of how different the songs are from some of the artists usual forte. They all did a damn good job on making one jazzy fucking album. Nice bass lines, lots of relaxing horns, nice drum breaks and the likes. Get it if you like lounge, jazz, funk or just good music in general k? Yeah, good

BUY (Out of stock)DOWNLOADEhh I didn't want to review this or anything but some people may not get this. This is pretty old stuff, as in 80's old. Alexander Robotnick is one of those guys who was just an innovator, his music was very unique for the time and kinda has that old Kraftwerk vibe (since its similar styled stuff). It's all done on old analog synths/equipment and sadly sounds a bit dated. A lot of his newer stuff (late 80's early 90's and
even current) is really fucking good though.
This is a new release BUT of old un-released material, hence the name of the album. See this as a gem to all the electronic fags out there who want to sound cooler name dropping older acts.

PURCHASEDOWNLOADIt's beyond me why this album is so rarely mentioned. Instrumental hip-hop esque beats played by some of the jazziest musicians around. I can do nothing but praise this album since it is really fucking good. I loved every second of it, mostly since it's so mind blowing (especially when stoned) that I couldn't help but come back to it again and again. Though I'm not advocating drug usage, but seriously this is the perfect album if you wanna kick back and "relax". But yeah, can't recommend this enough and hey, Pitchfork gave it a 7.6 so you know it isn't complete crap! (couldn't resist)

SITEPURCHASEDOWNLOADAll I will say is this is a gem, a rare find which makes you say "Damn, this is awesome". It's obscure, funky, Russian electronic music which is all about the glory days of the Cosmonauts and Shepherds which have more in common than you think. It is best described as "Space-age Russian disco music that somehow simultaneously sounds like it belongs in 1950 and 2050." and was one hell of an album the whole way through. Buy it, download it, listen to it, and enjoy it, and stop by OMFO's site for a cool insight on the album.

DownloadPurchaseGonzales himself is a weird musician, but he makes some very nice calming jazzy music. His music (Well in this album) is mostly him playing the piano with a simple drum beat keeping the rhythm, which I believe he does to. And not to forget, he has a pretty good voice as well, which tends to fit the music very well.
This is a great album, somewhat jazzy, some what loungey, with some very nice piano work. It is something of a 70's sounding album I guess you can say. I am mainly uploading this since I am just listening to this and really enjoying it. So give it a listen.

DownloadSuburban Rhythm are a very jazzy/funky rock outfit. They play a very random group of songs on this album, from very funky songs like "18 Inch Ruler" to a somewhat Frank Sinatra esque song "Big City Lights" to random, yet catchy songs like "Blue Hawaii".
It is a very odd album, very energetic, with some very nice bass lines, and good vocals, it may be a hit or miss for some, but I really enjoy it. It may also be good to note, it is hard to find this album in stores, or even new copies of it, because of that, I can't provide a good "where to buy link".

Sometimes, music doesn't have to be serious. And with The Ernies, the time is always right to not be serious. A saxophone can be heard blaring through most of the tracks, including my favorite,
It's Digestable. Pick this album up if you like Ska or Punk, a great find that is also very rare.
