DOWNLOADPURCHASEOK, so this was not the first I listen to Lights Out Asia. 1st time I got another album, which had a very nice cover. However, I was greatly disappointed. And thus never listened to them again. Until some random guy, from /mu/ or waffles, I can't remember, recommended me this CD. And, WOA, I do not regret trusting the guy.
Much better than that other album, this is far more ambient/shoegaze, with beautiful and trippy sounds/melodies. Great stuff.

PURCHASEDOWNLOADThis here is an amazing collab between Bong-Ra and Sickboy which really leaves me in awe of how awesome it is. It's a very dark and twisted album with "pounding kicks, rattling snares and Luciferian rave stabs. A sinister sight for sore ears." It is probably one of my favorite collabs, and should be downloaded by anyone who likes experimental music.
(I also hear Duran Duran Duran did a bit of work on the album as well)

This is a strange album. I'm not even sure how to properly describe it. I think it's a concept album which follows the first incomplete concept album about the descent of the unicorn prince into Moletopopolis, where he fights the King of the Deathmøles. Both albums are instrumental, so you aren't losing any of the storyline between this album and that one.

Surdr's MyspaceJiggly's MyspaceDOWNLOADSurdr and Jiggly really put together a great split with this release, which was a surprising twist to hear from Surdr's
previous works. It is a very unique sounding album that creates very nice ambiances, overlapped with glitchy percussion, relaxing melodies, and a slue of other influences which all combine into a great piece of work which shouldn't be missed.

PURCHASEDOWNLOADThis album makes no logical sense, but has enough awesome music in it to overlook that. The music is very laid back and crazy, the lyrics are either pure genius or just retarded. OK, woa. It's "Stop all your downloads and GET THIS FIRST!" time again. Old release, I know, but I just listened about two days ago. I haven't even heard the whole album (life = busy), but I could say this will probably be on my top 10 post-rock albums from 2009. Yeah, that good.
It's not the usual stuff, you see. There's some touch of instrumental metal in it. I mean, it's not heavy, but it's definately not that post-rock too. Long story short, just get it.
Also, Jonas Renkse = singer from Katatonia. So, yeah, pretty awesome.
