The Four Seasons - Ozawa, Silverstein (1982)

This version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons is truly, well, definitive. This -is- the Four Seasons in all of it's glory, with no mistakes whatsoever. Yes, you read correctly, it is mistake free. And damn does it sound fine. Feel free to toss your other renditions of this beautiful piece in the garbage, this is the real deal.

This was the first ever CD i purchased, and it was right when it was issued in 1982. After listening to other renditions, I always come back to this... it's perfect. top
